I purchased the labradorite fairy knot amulet from you Sunday, late afternoon, at the Miracle on Fourth market in Longmont. I was so drawn to it, which almost never happens, and since my friend and I had been chatting earlier in the day about our trips to Ireland, it just felt that the amulet was speaking to me. After we left the market we spent some time at the Cheese Importers, then headed home. I drove north on Coffman, and when the light turned green at Third Avenue I started crossing the intersection. Suddenly my friend started excitedly waving her hands and shouting “Stop! Stop!” I realized that a car was about to come barreling through the intersection from the east, against the red light. I slammed on the brakes and watched as the car sped across, mere inches in front of us. As I replay the scene in my head, I still don’t know how it is that we weren’t t-boned, and very hard, as the car was moving well above the speed limit. I am not one to normally put much faith in the power of amulets, magic, or prayer. But I cannot discount the possibility that the amulet, still hanging around my neck, provided protection that saved our lives that day. Whether the power came naturally in the stone, or was infused into it by your creation of the amulet, I am willing to believe that the amulet found me, through you, and I am beyond grateful. Many blessings to you, Stevie.
